FRIME, HOST OF THE MSC CONFERENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE FISHING
On March 6 and 7 took place in Palamós the tenth edition of “Better Together”, a conference organized by MSC, dedicated to sustainable fishing. The meeting was attended by different profiles of the seafood sector, mostly focused on quality and sustainability.
For FRIME, it is an honor to have hosted the second day of this conference, which highlights the value of responsible fishing and to be the first seafood processing organization to host an edition of “Better Together”. We are proud to be the stage for an initiative focused on sustainability and change.
During the visit to our headquarters, we made several presentations so that they could understand FRIME in its entirety. We explained our processes and presented our environmental, governance and social policies, on which we focus for the development of the company.
We also focused on our alliance with Pesca Azteca, which we hold in high regard and in which we trust to advance again towards MSC certification.
In addition, we offered them a guided tour of our facilities so that they could get a closer look at FRIME’s engine.
To end the day, the visitors were able to taste various recipes prepared to delight their palates with our yellowfin tuna as the main ingredient.
