Frime joins the “#ODSporbandera” initiative of the UN Global Compact Spain.

In a firm commitment to the United Nations 2030 Agenda, Frime joins the #ODSfortheflag campaign, driven by UN Global Compact Spain. This campaign is part of the global initiative “#ODSporbandera”, in which several countries participate to highlight their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the halfway point of their validity.
The SDG flag becomes a powerful symbol representing our commitment to a sustainable and prosperous future for all. Beyond nationalities, affiliations or positions, this flag seeks to unite efforts and goals in pursuit of a goal greater than our differences. It inspires us to move forward together.
#ODS por bandera
By raising this flag, Frime is committed to achieving results with a focus on the well-being of people and the planet. We have established a series of commitments and best practices aligned with our strategy, including:
SDG 14 Undersea Living: largely reflected with our tuna sourced from sustainable fisheries, promoting the health of our oceans and marine biodiversity.
SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production: backed by the MSC seal that endorses our offer, witnessing our commitment to sustainability and the protection of our marine resources.
SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth: we contribute to the creation of decent jobs and sustainable economic growth through our sustainable practices.
SDG 13 Climate Action: our sustainability approach and policy, in addition to responsible resource management, actively contribute to climate change mitigation.
SDG 15 Life of Terrestrial Ecosystems: our waste management is fundamental for us to protect ecosystems, which are essential for preserving terrestrial biodiversity.
In the words of Pablo Múgica, CEO of Frime: “We are committed to excellence in every aspect of our business, from the quality of our products to the preservation of our planet. We are proud to offer our customers options that unite culinary pleasure with environmental social responsibility, thus supporting multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
As of May 4, 2021, Frime joined the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest sustainability initiative. Since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda in 2015, we have worked to align our corporate governance with the SDGs, which has brought us new business opportunities, enhanced our stakeholder relations and promoted innovation. Our commitment is comprehensive and reflects our dedication to contributing to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for a better and more sustainable world.
